  • This course is best taken in an extensive 10 day trailing course designed to teach the handler and dog how to work in rural and urban environments.
  • This course can also be shortened to a five days as an introductory primer for a smaller budget.
  • Day 1 consists of orientation and classroom. Days 2-5 or 2-10 are all field work with certification at the end with the TTTK9 Level 1 Exam.
  • Rural Exercises in relatively uncontaminated environments on the front end of the course finishing with urban work in contaminated areas with hard surfaces.
  • Anti-Distraction training in trailing/ tracking.
  • Introduction to the proximity alert and officer safety.
  • Proper training notes and court testimony.
  • After action reviews with video recorded during exercises.
  • Basic Trailing Level 1 Certification.
